Assessment is a critical tool that highly effective teachers use every day in their practice. There are many different purposes and types of evidence-based assessment practices. We have focused on 11 EBPs that support teachers in implementing an RtI framework to ensure that all students are learning. Effective use of assessment EBPs is important for all educators, both general and special education, and are aligned with inTASC Standards and CEC standards for beginning special educators.
